Obamacare is Dead

Home/Blog/From the Right/Obamacare is Dead

By: YNWA (moderator)

Of course the Australians have better healthcare than we do –everybody does. ObamaCare is dead! But our healthcare will soon be great. @realDonaldTrump 5 May 2017

Obamacare survives for now, as grassroots opposition to its repeal succeeds due to unpopular replacements proposed by Republicans.

Obamacare is clearly not the solution for affordable, fiscally responsible health care. Repeal and replace failed, but it isn’t a flawed strategy.

Fake news flash! We did not have affordable, fiscally responsible health care before Obamacare.

Republicans lack a solution for affordable, fiscally responsible health care. Rather, the Republicans’ health care policy is “close our eyes, put our hands over our earsand cut taxes.” No wonder it failed.

The war against Obamacare, a body count likely many times greater than American victims of terrorists. Unbelievable. Sad. Heartless.

Isn’t it time to accept affordable, fiscally responsible health care as a legitimate goal on its own? Unbundle health care reform from tax cuts, states’ rights and small government. By the way, the states don’t want to deal with health care on their own.
